Terms of service

These terms keep both sides honest. Plain language, no surprises - if anything here is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

The service

PrivacyReady checks websites for observable signals of readiness under the DPDP Act 2023 and the DPDP Rules 2025, scores them, and provides remediation guidance and monitoring. You may only check websites you own or are authorised to assess.

Not legal advice

The service is a preparation tool. Results, scores, and guidance are technical assessments of website signals - they are not legal advice, and no score or report is a certification of compliance with any law. Decisions about your obligations belong with your counsel.

Your account

Keep your credentials safe and your account details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your workspace, including your team members' use.

Fair use

Plans include stated limits on pages, checks, and seats. Do not attempt to overload, reverse engineer, or resell the service without an agreement, and do not use it to check websites you have no right to assess.

Payments

Paid plans are billed in INR, exclusive of GST, monthly or yearly. Yearly plans are discounted and renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We never accept liability for regulatory outcomes - readiness work is yours to complete.
