We are a privacy product, so this policy is short on purpose: we collect as little as we need, we tell you exactly what and why, and your data stays in India.

What we collect and why

• Account details - your email and organisation - to sign you in and keep your workspace separate from others.
• Check data - the website addresses you check and the results - to show your reports and track readiness over time.
• Service information - which features you use - to keep the service reliable and decide what to improve.

Cookies

We set only essential cookies: the ones that keep you signed in. No advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies, and no cookie-based analytics - which is why there is no consent banner here. Display preferences like dark mode stay on your own device. If this ever changes, we will ask first.

Where data lives

Accounts and results for this product are stored on infrastructure located in India. We keep data only as long as your plan and the law require, and anonymous free-check data is removed on a schedule.

Who processes data for us

A small set of providers run the service under contract: a database and authentication provider, an email provider for transactional messages, and hosting. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.

Your rights

You can ask for a summary of your personal data, have it corrected or erased, and raise a grievance. Email namaste@privacyready.in and a person will respond within one business day. If we ever fail you, the DPDP Act gives you the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

This is a plain-language policy and we intend to keep it that way as the Rules roll out.
